Lawyer. Professor of Criminal Procedural Law at the School of Judges for the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ). Former professor of the Criminal Law Defense and Human Rights´ Clinic at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), where he was awarded first place in the public selection process. Member of the Criminal and Penitentiary Policies Comission of the Bar Association of the State of Rio de Janeiro (OAB-RJ), since the beginning of 2019. Former member of the Criminology Comission (nominated for the term of 2013 through 2015) and of the Public Security Commission (nominated for the term of 2010 through 2012) of the Bar Association of the State of Rio de Janeiro (OAB-RJ). Former member of the Criminal Law examining board for the National Exam of the Brazilian Bar Association (2011). Monitor of the Criminal Law Clinical Program of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), entre 2009/2010.

Post-Graduate in Criminal Sciences and Public Security from Universidade of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and in Business Crime from the University of Coimbra/IBCCRIM.
Graduated in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ).
